Peanut Butter Filled Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients

For the biscuits

  • 2 cups wholemeal flour ( or any all purpose flour)
  • 1/2 cup of cacao powder
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 Tbsp spoon of bioglan spirulina powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 of a cup of Mayver’s Crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 1 Tbsp of almond milk ( if needed)
  • 8 Tbsp spoons melted coconut oil ( or butter)

The filling

Method

  1. For the biscuits: combine all ingredients together except for the milk, so the texture is easy to roll in your hand ( a little more than crumbly) if its too crumbly add the milk.. The mixture shouldn’t stick to your hands!
  2. For the filling: combine Mayver’s Peanut Butter and powdered sugar so this mixture is also easy to handle and not runny!
  3. Then get a small ball of the biscuit mixture in your hand roll it and flatten it in the palm of your hand, put some of the filling mixture in the middle and fold the biscuit sides back over the filling and then roll back into a ball.
  4. Place on greased baking tray and cook on 160-180 degrees for 12-15 minutes!
